All of the d13 tracks are about the same. The same track is used for all race classes .
What class are you planning on running? There are agressive riders in all of the classes and then there are some out there just to have fun. I have two boys who are running and we went out there last year with no experience and just let them go. Just remember, it is all about having fun. If she really wants to ride she will be fine. Good luck!

90cc production
We raced the D13 90 production class last year. There are some very fast kids that race in that class but when it come to respecting the other riders on the track the fast kids are very good about that. We do race the same track but only 70cc and 90cc bikes will be out on the track. So tell your daughter to atleast try it before she says no way I think she will like it. I think we all had the same feeling the first big track we when to.
Where can I learn more about the VMP mini scene.
We ride all around the local area but have yet to check out the track. My 9yr old little Girl just isn't into competition, but i'd love to get to meet a few folks and come see the show.
There is a race there this weekend. Hopefully the weather holds up and we can get a good amount of riders. This past weekend was pretty good and it was a beautiful day. Come on out and check out the riders and the track. Hope to see you there.

we were just out at the practice day south fork had this weekend and my daughter loved the track. its not too far from vmp and not so aggressive. we decided to skip vmp and make south fork her first race
Sounds like a plan. She should have a good time at Southfork. I have heard that VMP and Southfork have both be re-designed this year. Should be interesting to see what they have done. Look us up when you get there. Like I said before, we race the 50 limited class, #81 & #82. See you there.
