    aftermarket frames

    Why are they so expensive

    Because of the time it takes to build. Most were hand built by one person. Mike Walsh, Mark Laeger, and Dave Porter, Doug Roll, and all those guys built each frame themselves. LSR & Arens had some kind of production line.

    Think about this though. If you had to replace the stock frame on a TRX450 more than once you would exceed the price of an aftermarket frame. I believe the price on a TRX450 frame is close to $1000 new from Honda.

    Troy Racing has Honda frames for $860, but still close to a g for it.

    are there any real good welders out there or on this forum that would only charge for metal costs.

    I'll sell you my hybrid frame, or my entire hybrid, it needs motor work done to it...
