    2008 sportsman 400 h.o.

    Im considering buying a sportsman 400 h.o. and i was wondering if any one owns one if so how are they? thank you

    one thing to know is its actually a 450.

    I tested this unit for atvriders in 07 and was really impressed. it was a light, nimble entry level utility quad that was really fun on the trails.

    If you like the smaller chasis it is a great buy - Polaris took the 450 sportsman out of the large chasis and put it into a smaller one . For the price and performance you can't beat it.

    i have a 2008 sportsman 300 its about the same except the 400 (450 is a bigger engine, anyways im satisfied with my 300 and i pull trailers of wood, and it performs greatly

    great on trails

    I run a Polaris Magnum 4x4 330 (got it for the kids) and on tight trails in the woods it is the best. Sportsman 700efi is to big and has to much power to pull tight turns in the trees and is wider. A friend just got his Sportsman 500 and we are going to see how it does.
