    105cc Big bore

    Any body running one of these motors? Will they last ?

    FYI::
    1) cc's isn't where to get power and speed from a LT80. Cylinder porting and matched clutchs is.
    2) the 105 kit is actually only 96cc's with the stock stroke.

    IMO a waste of money. A modded motor at 82cc's will stomp a 96cc kit.
    As for reliability, It won't last as long as a smaller bore.

    Now if you do choose to get one, be aware that you don't need the "kit" you only neeed the piston. The stock cylinder can be bored to it.

    Thanks lt80,son just finished his first 3 races he did great 1 >1st 2>2nd. a eton 70 with the works or everything gets him at wot straight aways.thinking about gettin you to work motor some and switching tires to 18 inch got 16 now. Thank you for all your input to this fourm.

    ya lt80 is right on this mod i actually lost power with a 105 kit, between the clutch mismatch,port timing and other things, stick with the 82 you will be much happier, especailly during weather changes when the 105 becomes really sensitive to the jetting . good luck
