    Need help? What year?

Hey guys I'm new on here and looks like you guys have a **** load of knowledge to help me get my first 2 stroke quad goin right and lookin good. Just picked up this Lt250r. The guy said it was a 1990, but on the receipts that he has from it, they say 88, and one says 1990. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

From the looks of the swingarm it is at the very least an 87 and up. That is about all I can tell you and you pretty much new that.

Can only narrow it down to between an 88-90. From the engine intake, I can tell it is 88-up. From the frame and swingarm, 88-90. 91 Suzuki switched from a Full-Floater rear suspension to traditional, with the shock angled forward. Is there a VIN tag on it? Look on the left side lower frame rail.

Yes, there is a VIN stamped in the framerail, but it is basically filled in from the paint job, I can only make out a few digits....

ie: non PV motor, straight seat, round housing style bearing carrier, and they're very light.
