I- Pod question

Does anyone know if you crack the glass on an I-pod if it can be sent to Apple to be repaired??
Kelseys got an I-pod vidoe 80GB that he display glass broke, I was hoping it could be repaired as its only a couple months old.
Im going to look for an Apple store tomorrow and see what they say, but thought I would ask.

Yeah, I found a place in Boise. It still works fine, you just cant see anything since the screen is broke.

Im 99% sure you can ship it back to apple and they will fix it.

I need to send my Nano in.. Its got a huge dent in the body and the click wheel only works when it wants to.

KElsey found a site that parts were cheap -her freind fixed his hiself,he showed me how and its EASY!!
Apple wanted 130.00 bones today to do the same I can do for 18.00!!

Same for some dude she knows who keeps calling.... his cell phone in his pocket when hes riding!Everytime he hits a whoop, he sends me a message on accident .

how do you split the ipod?

With a very small flathead screwdriver on each corner and it pops right open, at least it does on the Video Ipod..
its pretty cool to see the inside ! But you can tell things are very fragile ,so be careful if you try to replace the parts on your own.
Im not 100% sure, but I think theres instructions that come with the purchase of parts. I order mine today,so I guess we will see how it goes!
