    416ex crankshaft problem????

i put my 11:1 wiseco piston(87mm) and xr cam in my 400ex this friday, the difference is really impressive, im ahead of my friend raptor(he has a filter, jet kit and fmf) and i think is a little hungry! some people said that my motor wont last more thant two month because the crankshaft will not accept the extra power, is it possible?? how many times have your 416 or 426 motor, did you have some problems??

    thanks

I've had mine for 6-7 months...Zero problems. I know a guy who has been running a 440 in his '99 with stock crank for over 1 1/2 years, with no crank/rod related problems.

The bottom end of the 400 motor is pretty much bullet proof. I have seen the exception of a couple of mx racers that dont know how to use the clutch, waste a shifting fork or two but no rod failures with hundreds of 416 and 440 kits.

You know the world is going crazy when France is accusing the US of arrogance, and Germany doesn't want to go to war.
