Tranny springs- where do these things go?

I have 4 springs- one large, 3 small from Max RPM for the tranny.
Where do these go? Do I remove the left-side cover where the kick-start is?
    Oh yeah-
Where can I get a good service manual for an -08 Outlaw? lol

I got a copy of the left side internals. So, I should be good now.

How in the heck do I get the nut off the main clutch housing?!
I have tried all kinds of vice grips and pliers to hold the housing. I am very close to buggering the thing up.
Shop wants $30 to pull it off to install 4 springs.

Man, i hate having to spend $30 because of 1 nut! UGH!!!

Do you want to talk now.......

Use an impact gun.....and I use a screwdriver with a notch cut in the end for the little springs.

    I'll try that then.
But how do you keep the main clutch housing from spinning while doing so?

    (Don't devil me!)

On his 2-stroke e-ton when we raced it every six races.....that's if your set up right with not a lot of heat. The little one's once a year. If the rider or you can notice it it's to late it can cost you a moto.
