450r Front drive sproket will fit

Just like title says dad is running a 12 tooth moose front sproket for harescrambles

so it is a direct fit. not modded or anything. do you have a part number. i am looking to get more bottom end but the dealership has no clue what fits etc...

Its as simple as taking out old sprocket, replacing with new, and tightening the chain, we bought his of Denniskirk.com only moose makes the 12 tooth but youll even notice a diffrence with a 13 tooth and it any year 450R

thanks. i ordered a 12 and a 13 tooth. there are a few different manufacturers making them as well, just so you know.

What are your results with the new sprockets? Just wondering witch one I should get and tryout.

12 is good. 13 wasnt much of a difference. with the 12 1st gear is almost useless

How much chain adjustment did you have to do? Was it to the end of the adjustment?

almost. but there was still somew more. i think i may take a link out and try that but so far so good.
