Hello,
I'd like to know when do you change oil and oil filter?
I mean, how many hours\gas tanks.
If you don't understand me I'll try to make it more simple.
Thanks,
Ben.

I think it's more of when you're oil looks like it needs to be changed. I have nearly 24 hours on mine and the oil is still golden.
I hope that you at least changed it after your initial break in! 24 hours? Yikes.

I talked to several people at the dealership about this and they said I didn't need to. (I bought the 5 year warranty anyway...)
I'm going to change it prior to going riding this weekend though.
Change it every 5 hours of use to begin with and then every 10-12 after that.

I change in my 450 every 25 hours and the oil is somthing between golden to black, none of the colors is more dominant than the other.

If you're talking about a TRX 450r, the engine oil is seperated from the transmission oil. The 700XX isn't this way, it has to also deal with the spent clutch material in the oil. This shorten's the oil life.
I have a TRX450ER. I change my oil and filter every 3rd ride. So that is right about 15 hours. I do the tranny at the same time, of course. I clean my air filter after every other ride unless it is real dusty or muddy. Then I do it after each.
To the guy who said he has only put 25 hours on his quad and no oil changes! wow.

If the oil isn't dirty and the oil filter is fine, why change it?
When I would wipe it on a white paper towel it looked like I spilled honey on it.
It wasn't black, brown or black and brown with metal shavings.
That's how I was raised to take care of my stuff. My rides usually last alot longer than my buddies.
