Round 8 of the Can AM GNCC Series is sitting high atop the Pennsylvania country side as the series climbs to the Mountain Ridge ATV facilty for another round of racing action


Rain has been on and off today, light rain but wet none the less. Predictions are for a somewhat slick event as the rocks that await the riders will show themselves and the slick soil will greet the huge number of entries at this race!

California based Motoworks made the cross country trip to run this event and were busily getting machines prepped

Tireballs Jeff Steoss works non stop as Tireballs will be a great help to riders tomorrow as they face the rocks somerset is known for. The morning racers will have the benfit of having the largest rock section removed for their race

Angela Butler, of Womens Pro AM National fame, and current WORCS racer made the trek to the east coast to race this event. Her machine gets some tweaks before tomorrows event

While Cody Hill may not be back to 100%, he has been walking on his own for the past few days, however he seemed to have picked up a pretty sweet pair of crutches at this race

Dave Burton heads of to tech inspection as the last few moments of the day turned to a great sunset ....well almost

I spent most of the afternoon wrenching on my generator that somehow managed to get water in its fuel tank, but when i saw the sunset I took off to capture a few images of Womens Novice racer Jessi Stracham.

Jessi and the entire Stracham family are always good sports and great competitors in this series and with Jessi's move to the adult class, she will be one to watch as she continues to grow up one lap at a time!

Jodi Stracham went down hard in the 2nd turn at Sparta, and with just some bruises she is ready to rip it up tomorrow and try to get herself a win to match her sisters!

A proud dad even stepped in for a simple family sshot, and I want to thank them for their time and wish both girls good luck!

Light rain is falling here at 7:30 am, and we will be ramping up to do live coverage shortly. Luckily the ground fog isnt as bad as it could be and we can see this morning. Being at just under 3000 ft elevation can have this area socked in tight with fog so we dodged a little bit of a bullet
