my 250ex is leaking oil from the carb and i have no clue what is going on. its all over my frame, carb, and engine. i take good care of the quad too, i have never left it sit dirty. any suggestion guys?

There shouldn't be any oil in your carb. Does it run fine? Check for gasket leaks.

i doubt its leaking for the carb. it is probably just oil that dripped on the carb. maybe a over service?

yeah theres no oil at all in carbs unless its a 2 stroke. Maybe your head gasket it leaking or your valve caps, eather that or the crankcase breather was loose or isnt into your air box and it spit oil everywhere

i walked out to it this morning and my carb is covered with oil and the right side of frame is covered. im going to check the breather hose later, and i will let you guys know what is up with it, if its not the breather hose, i have no clue what is wrong with it. thanks for the help guys.

^ thats what i was thinking. it happens to me all the time when i put a lawn mower on its side to get the blade off hahah

the breather hose is fine, but i always put it on the grab bar to clean it. thanks pappy, now i know what caused it haha
