    Motor and stuff

I understand the motor on the 700XX is an upgrade from the XR650.
Does anyone know if the oilfilter and the front sprocket is the same on these motors?
What is the size of the sprockets (F/R)?
And what is the bolt patern on the wheels (F/R)?
I hope some of you kan help me get some answers
Because I`m waiting for my XX to arrive and I want to get some upgrades for it while waiting

I too would like to find out if the front sprocket is the same as the XR650 or even some other common model. It's one of those things you don't know till either someone starts selling them or you take it off to compare it to an XR650 one.

The rims are 144 bolt pattern, front and rear. I haven't been able to find a major aftermarket part supply place with anything 700XX specific other than what I have listed. ITP makes paddle tires for 11" rims though. The fronts are the same as the rest of the 400EX and 450r's.
There's also a company sellign K&N type air filters for the 700XX on eBay.

I haven't changed my oil yet, but from what I've heard it's the same as the XR650.

    Front sprocket seems to be a 14T P/N # 23802-HP1-670

If ya stick that No in to Google it says its a TRX450R sprocket. So it looks like it's compatible with the TRX450R.......gotta like that.

and yes its a XR650 oil filter...........

06-08 TRX450R's actually came stock with 13 tooth front sprockets. If the 700XX does have the same style sprocket as a 450R, you can also use CRF450 and later year CR500 sprockets, along with certain years of CR250 sprockets. (front only of course.)

    Yeah.......13T.........oooops..........brain fart....still TRX 450 will do it.

Can't find part No on the rear sprocket even; on the parts list I have......I do a have a tech article that says the rear sprocket was made small to increase ground clearance. I hope it is compatible with something.

i dont know about the rear ... but its much easier getting to the front sprocket... looks like you have to take most of the rear apart to get to it.
