    sproket size

one of my friends, jake, just bought a used 300ex. it has an fmf powerbomb header and an fmf q scilencer on it. he wants a littler more top end power, what size sproket should he use? it has a 13/38 on there right now. he still wants some bottem end power for holeshots too.

Put a 14t on the front and keep the rear the same.

Put some more teeth on the front sprocket and less on the rear. Probably what they said. Bigger/taller tires will also work good.

i would go any more than a 14 on the front it will really hurt the 300ex's acceleration. if u ride wide open all the time then run a 14 with stock tires but if u ride wooded areas and trails then i would stick with stock.
