I think you're going to want to add A LOT of gussets.

Do u reckon a crf150 engine would fit in an apex frame with fabrication
Would be intersting to see... but I would be concerned about the frame holding up .Originally posted by pongo

As many Gussetts that we have on my sons, I bet it would hold an 85 now.

Im not 100% sure, I dont think it would, but if it did, it would be a tight fit and it will be heavier than an 85 would be, I would think quite abit for a mini frame.
These frames have a hard time just handling what they are already built with let alone a dirt bike motor.
We had close to 20 gussets on my Daughters 116 stroker and still had to add more welds .
I know the 80/85 motors have been done in the DRR frame, but not sure how well they held up.
Do you already have a 150 and an Apex?
If its something you really wanted to give a shot, I guess the best way to find out would to find a 150 and start taking some measurments.
Good luck!

do have to flip the swingarm to make the sporcket on the right side
You have to flip the swinger upside down. Then chop the swing-arm 1'' back from the pivot piont . Flip that, Then weld back to were you cut it from. This makes the chain adjustment still on the bottom, rather than just fliping the swinger, then the adjustment would be on the bottom.
