    Tranny Gear help

I've been running Polaris gears but they don't make the drive axle gear anymore, I was reading somewhere on here about hardened and polished gears someone was doing. I can't find the post, anyone know a web site, number and name of a company or person I can contact? I'm running a slipper sprocket so I don't want to go with the E-ton gears. Any help would be appreciated

You need to call DC Motorsports and get a slipper clutch only way to keep from braking gears other than letting off the gas. hardened gears still break. With the slipper clutch you can run any gears Drr gears will work.

I heard that his slipper clutch works but I don't need it, my slipper sprocket works perfectly, haven't broke gears since I got it and I'm not teaching him to land off the gas. Hard to win when you don't use the gas! The reason I need gears is because the Polaris one that we were running failed where its pressed together, so the small one spins inside the big one. I can still get that one but the drive gear is unavailable so I need a place to get one just to have a spare.

What gear are you talking about "drive gear"? The two piece is still available but the finale drive with the sprocket shaft isn't. Not really sure why they stop making them, parents who aren't into racing and break them I'm sure aren't happy

What is DC Motorsports number? I'm sick and tired of DNF's because of broken gears. We race on sandy, rutted tracks and the slipper sprockets seem to fail quickly as well. And, while cheaper to replace, a DNF is still a DNF.
