8 women were out to make a name for themselves. Angela Mickelson grabs the holeshot but she would succumb to quad related issues.

The course started on the motocross track and then zigzagged in and out of the woods. The mx portion was in good shape, the woods however would be quite a surprise for the racers since most spots were still wet from the 7 inches of rain that had at the track in the days before the race.

The new first year racers class and the juniors got a little confused and all left the line at the same time.
