    Axle question...

    What is everybody doing for axles on the Can-Ams?

    Just got a RPM from epic racing, excellent product just a little pricey.

    I had an order in for the epic rear axle, then there manufacturer decided they weren't going to make any more. ~$1000 for an RPM axle is WAY steep so I did some research and found that LoneStar racing is making an axle for the DS450 that will take the stock equipment. The also have 2 axles one is solid the other is gun drilled like the stock axle. The weight of the gun drilled axle is the same as the stock axle and it is going for $570.

    I got the Rpm before lonestar was advertising theirs. I owned a 450r before so all to sprockets and hubs fit, and rotors don't cost that much. If it was not for having hondas in the past I would have waited for lonestar

    Can Am makes a racing axle that is wider. I don't know the part number, but I'm sure the dealer can find it.
