    fourtrax 300 clutch

I have a Honda Fourtrax 300FW, The clutch is slipping pretty bad and i was looking in side there and to my knowledge there is two clutches in there, One CENTRIFUGAL clutch and one pressure plate clutch...the problum with mine is that it only slips on take off or when in a higher gear and going too slow, but grabs good when moving and higher speeds with rpm's matched. so my question is which clutch does what?

The centrifugal clutch is the one that is going to lock in harder at higher rpm of course. I haven't priced one but figure it would be a lot higher than the regular plates. I would think if you are going to replace the cent. one I would put new fibers int eh regular clutch as well. jmo
