    MXR 70 head torque

    Lost some compression on our 08 mxr 70 and redoing it, was wondering if any had what the torque is for the 4 cap nuts
    ( m7x1.0) are. Any help appreciated , it l;ooks like from searching that it is around 15 lbs .
    ALso they sent me 1 large black rubber oring and a orange 4-5" oring, but there is also a small 2" oring I dont know what it goes to and dont remember seeing it , I'm am water cooled and 47mm.

    small o ring goes around the spark plug part of the head, to seal head cover . Lubricate it before assy .
    14.5 foot lbs is the head nut torque.

    I haven't had any problem but if you have crown nuts replace them with the standard nuts.
