so Im headed out into the dunes for a night ride and after less than a minute or so both my tail light and headlight bulbs blew out. any ideas what would cause this?

Bad voltage regulator, did you pin it before the lights blew?

either the voltage regulator is bad or you have a bad connection on either of the wires that lead from the regulator
250R's...... "they gots bite wiff dat bark !!!" R's are fo sand bars.....

where is the voltage regulator?
i dont recall seeing any heatsink box like my 350x has...

Little silver heatsink type box under the front fenders/hood. If you don't have one at all, that may explain the lights blowing out.

i looked all over both my R's for this darn thing and got nothing. I know I've ridden dunes at night before so Im at a loss where it went to...
its supposed to be under the hood, right?
