In my opinion loud 4 strokes just PISS me off and will get you in trouble.
I don't think you will gain annnnnnny power either.

well you got a problem!^^^^^... for your question if its a stock pipe just take the 3 screws/bolts out of the end of the pipe and pull the core out and cut the stock spark arrester of and put it back on.... and aftermarket ppipe will give you more gains and sound louder and better.... loude 2 strokes sound gay 4strokes sound awsome!

^^^^^^^^ Loud four strokes are awsome i agree...i was riding today and some 450's were going the other way and it hurt my ears trough my helmet...they sounded sweet!...well any who way thts the way to get it out i think if you want sound and profomance, get a pipe or a slipp on(depends on stock header)
To scott-300ex ---- how old are you? you would hate my quad, FMF Powercore 4 (no spark arestor) its loud!!!

yea i just got it and i was wonderin wht it consisted of takin the spark arrestor out of the stock pipe until i get a new full exhaust, any suggestions? i was thinkin either white bros., trinity, or pro circuit

Yeap I much rather hear a loud thumper than an ear piercing weedwacker pinger. I know i'm loud and i dont really care and nobody else does either (probally because race built 450's are even louder) haha When someone hears a loud 2 stroke you see everyone in the parking lot plug their ears and shake their heads.
