Plainbroke can you post a pic on the bulb you modified for he new hid? i have been trying to figure out what kit works with the least amount of mods.
I ordered the kit with 5000K 894 bulbs from ebay for 50 bucks.
I may be slow, but I'm ahead of YOU.
Here is the modified stock bulb base.

^^ look good
but why all the modding of the bulb housing?
because Polaris uses a proprietary bulb you can not buy anywhere but from Polaris and I wanted to be able to remove it and put the stock bulbs back in without buying new housings.
The cheapest and easiest way to return the bike back to stock, and it can be done in minutes.. Also using the factory bulb base like I did, it uses the factory seal on the base to housing and the seal on the HID bulb to the base so no water or sand ect gets in..
I have been running them for a month or so now in deep snow, rain, mud ect. with no problems.. The only thing I wish is I could find a dual element bulb in the 800 series HIDs.. then I could have Hi and low.. Not that I need both but others might consider it rude to run through camp with the HIDs on they are VERY VERY INTENSE..

ic ic..
good idea
there's many different ways in doing this, did you run a separate wire with new relay to the battery or leave is stock? i was thinking or rewiring mine but haven't had any problems so ive left it alone.
you should post pics of the oem bulb so people can see the differences in them
plainbroke could u post a link to the exact kit u bought.. there are so many different kits ..thank u
