Worth the wait?

well, im looking to start MX racing. my initial plan was to buy a used honda or yamaha 450 to race this year. now that i have seen how well the KTM's are doing, im having second thoughts on which quad i want. so im not sure weather to wait another year to get a KTM, or what. KTM Owners, how does it compare to the other 450's on the track? is it worth 9k, and waiting another year?

a few of my buds have ktm dirtbikes and they say they never buy another ktm because of the time it takes to get parts. so if there anything like the dirtbikes , then no its not worth it to me .u can get a full mx honda or yamaha 450r for a good 6 grand.
