    05 brute

    do the 05 brutes have any problems at all...theres a guy wanting to trade the brute for my 450er and Im considering it....
    2006 450er
    hrc kit
    kenda xcf and knarlys for xc
    holeshot mx's on douglas for mx

    Quite a few stories of them spinning rod bearings. Usually on machines that have been sunk in the mud and took in water.

    Bit of an over generalization there....that is true of any motor sunk or having water in it.

    Anyways, the 05's had some issue but there are fixes for them.

    Tie-rod issue
    Bus connector(grounding point) issues
    Front cylinder needle is not correct.

    Stuff like that.They are not prone to spinning bearings more than any other motor.
