    Opinions on 4x4...

Im sorry, I didnt know where to post this..

Ive been searching this website for hours, and found no "real" answers.

I currently own a 400EX, I dont ride it anymore- not since I bought a house...

Could I plow a gravel driveway with a 4x4? Im not putting a plow on my truck, and the snowblower is only so good.

What size ATV, 500 or more for plow?

Driveway is about 100'-150' with 4 car parking area.

Or should I keep paying the plow guy 75$ a rip, and snowblow the walkways and parking???

Well, I pay the plow guy $25 every 3" or more.

He does a lousy job, I can get out, but the Wifey cant get her Mazda out unless I dig it out before I leave.

I have a snowblower, I just figured that and a Plow I could do it myself, when I need to do it, how I need it done.

    Ouch, 75 bucks? That's obscene.

If you never ride the 400EX anymore, i'd sell that and look into a nice used smaller grizzly. Or a Rancher or something similar. Those things are bullet proof.

For a driveway like that, i think an old 350 Rancher 4x4 with a plow will get the job done nicely.

For 75 bucks a whack...might as well just give him your first born child..

I plowed my driveway for about 6 years with a '01 big bear 400 4x4 with no problems, except for the time we got nailed with 3 feet of snow.
My driveway is about 1500ft long with hills and turns so it was a challenge but fun.
Now I have the grizzly and we never get snow.

    Thumbs up

Get a Grizzly 700 W/EPS you won't lose. It'll plow what you need and
give you plenty of fun throught out the rest of the seasons.
