    400EX: 38 or 36 tooth for Glamis?

Here's my mods: White Bros. E-Series Silencer(18 discs), filter, Rev Box, and 36 tooth rear sprocket. I still have a 15T in the front. My question to all you duneaholics is whether or not my gearing is too tall for Olds Hill? Should I go back to the stock gearing?

When I go to Florence and race up comp hill I have 13/39 gears. It makes it so I pull it in 4th. For your bike just try dropping the front to a 14 you should have some more low end power.

I got a better response by leaving the stock sprocket on the front and going to a 40 tooth rear. Sure seemed to help especially with Sand Skate 2s.
