    Parts

Does anyone know of any parts that are available as of right now?

I would like to have a whole bunch of stuff waiting for it when I bring it home

Also do you think parts for this bike will be scarce? I know you cannot find a whole lot for the ds650.

Heres one of the connections for suspension, and other components.

As for the availability of parts once the bike is outside the factory stuff? It won't be a problem. This is a bike that will be common in the regular racing ranks, and will be common with people building the hell out of them.

The 650 never went over much with a crowd of builders...they mainly went to trail riders with no intention of building them. Outside of that, it was us desert racers....and we're still hurting from a lack of aftermarket stuff for the 650. The bike I've been riding has aftermarket tires, battery setup, nerf bars, and Flexx handlebars...hell, they had to have the steering stem custom made for it... Its fairly close to stock

Shouldn't be anywhere near the situation with the 650

The DS should have the same aftermarket support the other 450's have so you should be in good shape.

Now what makes you say they are head over heels above the competition.

Don't get me wrong, I was one of the first to have a LTE Dual System on my 400ex and raved about it....still do, but their site makes no mention of it aside from it will be available soon.

Reading what Rossier wrote confirms what I have been telling people....don't worry about statements about the motor not having enough bottom end, it does, but when you add a pipe and filter, you will see real results....here's the quote in comparison to other motors they have done actual internal work on.... The piped bike is only at 2-3 FT.LBS of torque than their fully built motors...just wait till these things are opened up..

"Our pipe and cold air kit have given this already powerful quad a 6 H.P. gain at the previous peak of 7800 RPMs and a staggering 9 H.P. gain at 9,000, where the stock pipe has already fallen off. This means 1 less shift down that long straightaway. From 3,000 RPM to 7,000 RPM we are getting 4 to 7 H.P. across the board, and the torque peak has gone from 28 FT. LBS to 33! All this with just a pipe and filter. As a comparison, our fully built, ported and cammed, race gas engines for YFZ and TRX racers make 35 - 36 FT.LBS. Folks, this engine has some serious potential! "
