Do I see license plates in there? What is that for? I though these bikes were strictly off road!
Anyway, nice quad.
In NY state we are required to register our ATV's. The plate is what we receive for display purposes. We don't get anything for it, no state maintained trails, no rights to ride on public roads, but we will get our machines impounded without it.
That's why it's called "Screw York State".

Here in CA we are required to register it but instead of plates we get the "GREEN" sticker valid for two years!
Are there many off road parks there in NY?
There aren't any that I know of. None where I live anyway. We're lucky to have clubs that organize insurance and private lands so that we can ride more than on our own property.Originally posted by gemer
