Nice pics! One of the best upgrades you can get for it is the VM26mm carburator. It was like adding a pipe to Jams bike and gave it power from bottom all the way to the top. Also, the camber/caster is off from the dealer. I readjusted them once I got the bike here.
    If it'll run... I'm ridin'!!!

At the bottom of the steering stem, there is a set screw, back it out and put lock-tite on it.Josh,s was loose as a goose when i came across it.Could have been bad news.
Also the two allen head screws where the tie rod make up to the hub.
The nerfs and bumper is not a bad decision either.Greg

Also, the throttle is pretty stiff. Take the carb off, unscrew the throttle cap off of the carb and cut the spring. I cut about 5 coils off and it made it much softer and wasn't giving Jam thumb pump. If you get aVM26 you'll have to do the same.

If you find the throttle cable is binding, cut the zip ties and free it up.When i changed Josh,s handle bars i realized that it had been binding.
I found that a throttle assembly from a 250,300 ex Honda will work.Greg
