where is the ds-450 made ?

I was wondering where the ds-450 is made ?

I know the motor is made in Austria and they have moved some manufactureing of ATV's to Mexico.

How does the ds-450 size up to the outlaw 450mxr and 525s ?

It's made in Canada on the same production line as the new Spyder, the Spyder was delayed because of a Plastic fit correction and is now in full production. The DS 450 is produced right after that starting with the regular 450 then going to the X model. End of November for the DS and the beginning of December for the X.

i think the ds-450 will size up to the outlaw 450. the only thing i can see people complaining about is all different kinds of bolts for plastic, engine, and parts. but considering it is aprox. the same weight and it has a ktm engine, i wouldn't hesitate to go buy one. but as for the 525 it is faster stock for stock than any 450 on the market. the 450mxr is made for what its name says, mx. although you could definatly take it out trail riding and race some gncc the 525 is made more for that just like ktm's 525.
