    got our 90!

We picked up our Typhoon up Thursday and I'm pretty pleased. I had to adjust the rear brakes (way toooooo tight), cut the throttle spring and put a Pitster cdi box on it. It shifts REAL HARD though, I hope that gets better. My son loves the thing better than the KTM 50 he had so that's good.:

The shifting will loosen up as he rides it. May take a couple weeks depending on how much time he puts on it. But it will get better. Took my son to the MX track for his first time this past saturday. He didn't want to take any breaks. He was riding the kiddy track and was jumping just as far as the kids on the dirtbikes. I'm definitely happy with the performance of this quad.
    If it'll run... I'm ridin'!!!

I put a heel/toe shifter on my sons 90 to help him out. If you haven't put the pin in the transmission yet to get 4th gear you might as well go ahead before the tranny gets stuck in no mans land and won't shift.

Questatv, regarding the heal-toe shifter... is this something you made or does someone sell these?
I would like to put one on my sons quad and need to know if I need to break the welder out?

It is a direct bolt on replacement. No mod necessary. I'm a dealer. Can sell you one for $25.00 plus shipping of probably $7.00.

The heal-toe shifter is a must.... It does shift easier once it is broken in, but you can also shorten the spring & it makes for easier shifting...
