    Apex (ProShark) 08 Model

Here pictures of whats out today over here in the U.K, the 08 model ProShark RMX, pretty good comes standard with Case Saver, Slipper Sprocket,Nerf Bars, Red Frame on Black Models, retails at £1995 pretty good value out of the box ! Lot of extra stuff there to save the gearbox, we run gears out of another model that are a lot stonger so we don't need the 'extra' stuff, because we don't break them ! See what you think.

something new to look at, something else would look good on the ProShark to, can you see what ? And they will fit.

    Rod,

Those are some great lookin quads, I love the stock frame color of the Pro shark. Wish we could get that frame color stock over here in white plastics the Pro shark would look like a YFZ.

Need to install a trans bushing and a transmission saver kit, to help with the problem. I dont care what set of gears you run untill you support the shaft of the main gear you will be breaking gears.

Hi Chad & Jay, nice to hear from you again, will speak soon but for now, in answer to some questions
no we do NOT run the saver kit nor the slipper sprocket, my lad ran the same gears for 12 months, only problem we had was wearing on the tip of the gears, but still didn't break them, they kind of bent over slightly ! Just one point I need to make is my lad does Hare Scrambles (Enduros) these may not be as furious as QuadX but they are an hour and a half long, not 12 mins, over varying land so we still get jumps and skitty land to race on, anyway the gearboxes still get as much hammer as on the QuadX rounds, oh and it kicks out 12.7 h.p!
One team rider broke one set of gears last year but he did win the QuadX championship and this was up against a load of ProSharks. We sell the gearboxes to replace the Apex (ProShark) gearbox, since the Case Saver kits came out over here we obviously have sold alot less, one problem we found is people doing their chains too tight !
This is the quad my lad races

I hope this helps 'some' people achieve what we are not supposed to achieve with a 'scooter' engine that normally drives one wheel !
Fantastic reports off my friend that had the ProShark (Apex) last friday, he has run Malossi gear and barrels but he said 'if these Quads had come out of the box like this 2 years ago he could have saved a load of money !! Really IMPRESSED by it all,
    Any further info please ask,

    Rod,
That is one fine mini, I like the set up on that machine.

I agree we have never broke a set, in one year of MX,TT and flat track racing. We teach our riders to let off untill they feel the mini land then hard back onit. WE may have just got lucky. But we have all the mods done as a precaution.

Is that a dolphin in the pics? I know you guys can build a fast nice mini
