Front shock ?

I've got a new 90 Typhoon ordered (to be here Wednesday) and was wondering if a set of works 300ex shocks would fit on the front? We've got a set left over and if it will raise the front end, it would save me some $.
Are the 08's any better than the 7's? What do I need to look out for and buy?

They are a tad too long.

They should still work. We had a set of fox from a 300ex and they were a tad long, like a 1/4" and they worked well. You can't accomplish raising your ride height and still have the same amount of sag that you are used to with those shocks. When you mount them, the shocks will be topped out, but you will get your ride height you were looking for.
