How do the Long Travel arms work with the stock shocks? I see the picture on the site but I do not understand how you can have Long travel with standard length shocks. Please explain.
    Thanks

Im no trig major but when a standard honda shocks around 16" and long travel is 19.25" it dosent add up . It does look like it helped with the ground clearance but we know first hand that the shocks are junk. I think we have a better solution than this.

    long travel

the arms move less the closer you get to the frame so if you move the mount in you gain travel but it also puts more load on the shocks. so that means respring.

I can agree with that. So how much travel would you gain?

    travel

depends on how much you move the mount in but what little i have been around this bike the stock front shocks do not work very well so in my mind you would what to buy new shocks at the least for safety reasons.

    a-arms

i do not own profab anymore but before i sold it i did design a set of arms for this bike. they used 12 inch shocks and had 9 inches of travel you may look at that.
