Derrick Schrock would jump out to take the lead of the AA class but it would be short lived as Burrows, Johnson, and Gudde would take over the top 3 spots by the time the racers hit the creek.

Shawn Hohneke gets a bad start, key on?, but it wouldn't take him long to make up ground on the rest of the +30 pack.

+30 off the line with Doug Galivan taking a hard tumble in the first turn. Thanks to some of the crew and some muscle they straightened up his bars and he too would be out on the track.

Spectators rushed from the start lines to the second creek crossing to catch the leaders as they came through. Luckily for me no cameras were ready when I did the same thing this guy did and took a slam down the slick hill after the creek.

Jason Gudde worked his way up to third in the AA which would set him up for his best finish of the year.
