    People with HD studs!

    Has any one ever had the studs installed and the head gasket still would leak? if so what was the prob? thanks to any one that can help.

    I haven't used them but it's possible the head and/or cylinder is warped.

    i have never had this problem but if u do u prolly didn't tighten the head enuf,most of the time i torque mine then ride it a few times then recheck them. also check to make sur that the gaskets has a good surface to seal on

    Mine did the same thing. I re-tightened them about 5 Lb-ft more then stock and the problem went away.

    have it decked by a machine shop.

    it's where they true the gasket surface up to return it to a flat position. has to be done by a machine shop on a milling machine.
