Guys, fairly new to fourstroke dirtbikes/quads as I have been a 2T guy most of my life. Currently riding a KX500 powered trike. What I want to know is if the KTM 525 quad is using the same cylinder/head as the dirtbike. Is the quad detuned? How much wheel hp does the dirtbike make? Wide ratio trans in the quad?
same engine head as bike. with exception of course reverse. it puts down 53 hp to the ground. i believe around 45 ft lbs of torque( thats what makes it sick in a good way). i belive it is wide ratio tranny but not sure.
