More questions..Running hot, and staying at a high RPM

hey guys, just got my yfz back from a check up. I started it up, let it idle for about a minute or 2, then reved it a couple times, and the fan was already on, it was supper hot. Then when I reved it while riding, it would stay reved for a couple seconds AFTER i let off the throttle..any ideas?

Did the place that did the check up have the pastics off? You might check to make sure that they routed the throttle cable right and that it isn't binding up (I just had a similar problem on my 400ex when I had the throttle cable binding up under my fuel tank cause I put it back together in a hurry). As for the getting hot problem, maybe the coolant line is kinked and water isn't flowing???
There is no problem in the world that cannot be resolved by more throttle.
