    How to paint your ATV plastics

    i am in the process of painting the hood on my 450r. i am not doing it exactly like the link says but i first scuffed it up heavy then put down adhesion promotor followed by a 2 part primer and then my color and my clear. i did not use a flex additive in the clear as the hood does not flex much but i did flex it some off the bike and it did not crack. i still have my graphics to do. will most likely most pics when im done.

    wow and i remeber the days when ppl just bought some good ole spray paint from walmart and painted fenders and racks lol

    I would take it somewhere to be done honestly. If you messed it up, it would take a lot of $$$ to fix the problem.
