I think both will serve your purpose well , but watercooled will be the future for not much money difference , I would lean towards the WC

So have their been any problems with the extra parts . And is the raditor in the front . How about protection from rocks and mud .
yes the radiator is in the frnt, but is does not catch anymore mud than the fins of an aircooled cyl would.

Gary's boy Dillon ran there new wc 50 this weekend and its fast and looks great with the frame color. We have had some muddy nights and never had a overheating problem.plus if you upgrade to a 70cc metrakit you have the wc already. you will like either but like the wc do to the heat in florida.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Our watercooled 50s seem to run pretty strong out of the box, but so do the air cooled 50s..
Marc is right about the future of minis being liquid cooled...
As long as it says DRR you will be fine...
