    250r motor for sale

Up for sale is my backup...backup race motor. (yes I have two backups) This motor is ported and was rebuild a year ago. It was broke in, raced in one heat, and my primary motor was put in (370cc). This motor has been sitting on the self and I would rather have the cash then a motor just sitting there. This motor was built for flat track racing, pulls really strong through the gears. I ship UPS and the motor will be crated in a large tote with the lid zip tied on. Im asking 550 and that includes the shipping. I pulled all the rags out of the holes so you can see it better. I perfer money orders or checks, but will take Paypal if you will eat the 4% fee.

Alright.... I had to go back and ask so I would be sure I was giving right info on which motor. Weve had a 3 250rs and a few dozen motors over the past few years. I was wrong about one thing this motor has a full night of racing (2 Heats and 1 Feature).
This was a short-intermediate set up. Meaning it works well on the shorter circle tracks but not the huge ones we we visit. The cylinder is .20 over, the clutches, basket, and pressure plate are fairly new. I pulled the side case off and there are no grooves in the basket.
As you can see in the pic, there is no ignition, carb, intake, Or reeds.. so your on your own there. We normally search for 89 bottom ends. So im ASSUMING that is what this one is as well. If any one has a sure fire way of telling with out tearing down the motor please shoot me a note.
