    50 to 70

With all the talk of building for next year got me thinking. Zachary will be moving to the 70 class.

So this 50 can be made into a 70? If so would it be the same as if it was manufactured as a 70.?

If it doesn't perform the same I would rather get him the 70 WC version.

I plan to put the long travel a arms and Elka's on it after the season as long as it can be converted to a 70 with no performance loss.

should not be a problem the 50 and the 70 both share the same bottom end so basicaly choose your 70 top end and go racing.

DRR5 is correct, but make sure to check your local rules....they may consider it a modified quad since you changed it from stock.

Everyone in our 70 class is running the liquid cooled versions of the DRX70.

If you can make a cylinder change then you can bolt on a watr cooled Metrakit cykinder and get a big performance increase!!

    70

if your 50cc is an 07' later edition(oko carb), then it will convert to a very good 70cc. since most of us with a 70 will buy a cyl and head and a-arms and shocks anyway . you can buy same parts and have same bike , most 70cc classes are wide open for upgrades but like others have said make sure first.

    70 up and running

Well got the 70 together and the keihin carb on and so far she is rippin. Landon said he like the fact that the throtle went easier and when he hit the jumps it brought the front end up more so he was either landing on the back tires or all four. Race today, that will be the big test. I will have more results for everyone later. oh ya going with stock clutch set first then see from there.
