    is there a performance difference with a single reed over a 2-stage reed?

    my experience has been that single reeds are more of a snappier(light switch) hit and the dual reeds deliver a broader(more managable) power delivery.
    250R's...... "they gots bite wiff dat bark !!!" R's are fo sand bars.....
