pink wire!!!

does it matter where i cut the pink wire? and does it matter on the 07 model? thanks for the help..

i traced the two wires coming from the front sprocket and they went into a clip. i unplugged it but it doesnt start. im assuming it is a neutral safety switch. am i correct in saying to just cut this pink wire? but will it still start? it is not that big a problem to put it back together if it doesnt start but why do it if i dont have to. any help would be great. thanks

You need the Neutral wire connected, if you have sidecover removed just disconnect pink from switch. Remove rubber cover connection is spring loaded just put in a little and pull wire out. Then tap or cut off .
