    Rear Sprockets

What size rear sprockets do the DRX 50 & 70 run. I was just wondering if they are geared the same as my 90 w/c.

    Newer 07s 19T x 32T
    2006 19T x 35T (and early run 07s I believe)

Lots of guys switch to either a 20T front or 30T rear locally for more top speed

Just went out and checked our 50 and it is 19/32 as well.

Gary will these lil 50s take off with a 20/30 on them, gosh I am thinking it would sure make some steam up top but that it would kill all the bottom or what little bottom these things have.

I am still learning these lil boogers myself but I just dont see enough torque for that gearing, the highest torque reading I have got from this one was 2.40 even, bone stock UNI filter, good fuel and "Perfectly" tuned.

Are the bike by you stock or are they modded?

    Thanks man

    Stock 50s....

    19T/30T set up

3.2gram rollers seems to work well for us

DC CDI box helps as well....worth the investment IMO

3.2 rollers huh, dang it I need to setup an account with a company that has these odd weights, all the ones I have are like 3.5-4.0-4.5-5.0 and so on, no in betweens.

I think once I get to the point where an ignition is needed I will try that one, the PVL is too costly imho, even at dealer it is steep.

you could use just 3 of the 6.5 ..stagger them evenly.. as far as gearing ..i would keep the ratio around 1.5 or figure it this way..30t divided by 20t = 1.5 ..i use 28t rear and 19t front =1.47 for MX on both my 50/70 and 90cc... again..just my .02..track conditions/riders weight/engine mods/tire size have alot to do with it... i agree PVL is alot of money that could be spent on better areas like safety equipment and shocks

Also think about the track, if it has alot of slower corners with hills or jumps vs 1 fast section you would be better off with a lower gear to pull better and hole shots. plus is your rider going to use all that top end, most dont depending on the track.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

i agree.. the most important is the holeshot.. your only gonna go as fast as the rider blocking ya
