I have a 83 chevy 1\2 ton pick up with a 350 in it. I was wondering how hard it is to change over and what all will i have to buy. I want to change to 4 speed bulldog.

Looking for a used modded 400,416,426,440ex.
been there done that.....youll need the tranny, pedal setup, pressure plate, clutch, throwout bearing, all the linkage, shifter kit, and some other small stuff i know im missing. it wasnt too bad doing it on our 67 nova, took a saturday and most of sunday to complete. if u got a tranny jack it helps, we used the hold the tranny on your chest and slide it into the back of the engine method while trying to align it with the splines on the output shaft, lol no the funnest way. good luck.
