    300ex rear shock

How many people here put a 300ex shock and can honestly say that they felt a little or big improvement over the stock one?

Me I honestly think it was a waste of time and money. I ended up putting a KFX700 front shock (you'll need 2 washers) on it and it was a huge improvement. It did lift the rear end an inch or so, but since I have 20" tires it really didn't matter, still looks lower than stock.

With that said and someone want to try for themself a I have a 2004 or 2005 rear shock for sale and a KFX700 front shock.

I felt a huge improvement in unexpected high-speed hits and bumps. Low speed ride is a bit stiffer though. What size bolts are those v-force shocks?

So you went from stock to a 300ex shock, then to a kfx shock? If you say that the kfx shock is the same bolt size as stock, how did you make the shock mounts a 10mm bolt size again after you drilled them to a 12mm?

I didn't have to drill them 12mm, I made a spacer for the stock bolts.
