    440 kits???

anybody from NC running a 440 kit??? I already have a ton of problems out of the 426 kit, and instead of rebuilding it, i was thinking of goin all the way to the 440 with little lower compression to run it on pump gas. are these set ups good for the trail, i never race it, just ride it. or for the little bit of power advantage i gain should i just go back stock bore and higher compression piston. i just want my 400 turn key reliable and fun, not turn wrench aggervating and broke 70% of the time.

thanks for any and all input

13:1 is high. if you lower it to 11:1 or 12.5:1 itll be more reliable. 11:1 on the 440 is good

11:1 on mine runs awesome, However like I said in your other post in Powertrain forum, If your current 400 engine/piston/sleeve is running good keep it stock, thats your best bet for reliability.

sitting for 5 minutes probly wont cool much, actualy riding the qaud at a decent rate of speed will cool better then sitting still off after being ran a while i would think. but im not talking at wot screaming, just a cruize at a decent rpm to keep air moving over the heat sinks.
