    Fuel Filter

Anybody have thoughts on replacing the fuel filter for a Skyhawk 50. I have no dealers in my area - I was going to use some sort of aftermarket filter but I want to make sure I don't cause any type of fuel restriction. Anyone use anything they can suggest?

I've been using a clear plastic "lawnmower" type in-line filter for years and has been working great. If you are running the original paper filled filter I would replace it now, mine was coming apart inside.

Yea, it looks original - the rubber gasket material looks like it is deteriorating and turning to goo. Anyone know what the ID of the fuel line is?
